Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are a gel-like substance made up of hyaluronic acid solutions, which are naturally found in the body. They are used to provide volume, support, softness and contouring to areas of the face (lips), neck, chest and hands. We customize the appropriate amount and solution for you, depending on the area needing. We only use FDA approved dermal fillers such as Restylane, Radiesse, and RHA.

FAQs

  • Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA) Which is a naturally occurring sugar found in skin and connective tissue that holds water and provides hydration and structure. We use them to restore volume, smooth, fine lines, enhance facial, contours, and improve the overall appearance of aging or volume depleted skin. Unlike neuromodulators like Botox (which relaxes muscles), fillers physically “fill” areas of the face with volume.

  • Dermal fillers can treat a variety of areas, including:

    • Lips (for volume and shape)

    • Cheeks (for restoring volume)

    • Under the eyes (for hollows or dark circles)

    • Nasolabial folds (smile lines)

    • Jawline and chin (for contouring)

  • The duration of dermal fillers varies depending on the type of filler and the area treated. Generally, results last anywhere from 6 -12 months. What we know now is that with a strategic layering effect, your fillers may last up to 1.5-2 years.

  • After the procedure, you may be swollen, bruised, red, irritated, and even slightly uneven as the product settles over the next 2 to 3 weeks. Each day the swelling will subside, bruising will improve and the filler will begin to settle out but it is not fully settled for 2-4 weeks depending on your body’s response to inflammation and injury. Please, do not book a dermal filler appointment before a main event. I suggest 4 to 6 weeks before a big event or photo shootTo allow for proper settling.

  • If you're looking to restore facial volume, reduce wrinkles, or enhance your natural features, dermal fillers could be a great option for you. During your consultation, we'll evaluate your skin, health, and desired results to ensure dermal fillers are the right choice.
